In August 2006, The Jerusalem Declaration on Christian Zionism was issued. The Declaration categorily reject Christian Zionism as being ‘anti-Christ’: “We categorically reject Christian Zionist doctrines as false teaching that corrupt the biblical message of love, justice and reconciliation,” wrote Latin Patriarch Michael Sabbah of Jerusalem and other local heads of churches in Jerusalem.
“Christian Zionism is a movement within Protestant fundamentalism that sees the modern state of Israel as the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy and thus deserving of political, financial and religious support. Christian Zionists work closely with the Israeli government, religious and secular Jewish Zionist organizations, and are particularly empowered during periods when the more conservative Likud Party is in control of the Knesset. Both the secular and religious media place Christian Zionism in the Protestant evangelical movement, which claims upward of 100-125 million members in the US. However, one would more accurately categorize it as part of the fundamentalist wing of Protestant Christianity, since the evangelical movement is far larger and more diverse in its theology and historical development,” Professor Donald Wagner , North Park University in Chicago.
There are numerous Christian organizations on Jewish Lobby payroll for generating religious and political support for the Israel where their Christian brother and sisters are treated like thrash. One of such groups is the Church Ministry among the Jewish People (CMJ).
Stuart Littlewood has exposed the CMJ in an article titled “Holy mackerel! Christians must love and defend Israelis, preaches church mission”, saying:
“Some say the CMJ encourages the physical restoration of the Jewish people to the biblical Land of Israel despite the suffering this causes, and published statements seem to confirm it. CMJ is also accused of propagating Zionism rather than Christianity.
Ready for the bombshell? The CMJ was adopted as an official ministry of the Church of England in 1995. It has been operating in the shadows for 15 years. Ironically, both Israelis and Evangelists are exploiting each other for their crooked beliefs. Israel needs these Christian religious jealots to keep its grip over American nation – while the Evangelists believe that gathering of world Jewry will hasten the second-coming of their Lord Christ – whose biblical mission is to convert Jews to Christianity and the Jews who still refuse to accept Jesus as the “Promised Messiah”, would be put to sword.
