Lieberman: ‘Iran doesn’t have the right to enrich uranium’

The ‘Israel-Firster’ Senator Joe Lieberman was irked by Hillary Clinton’s recent ‘political wrong statement’ on Iran’s civilian nuclear program. In her address at the IISS Manama Security Dialogue, Hillary Clinton while boasting that sanctions are having the ‘expected effects’ on Iranian regime – she said that Iran has the right to enrich uranium locally as long as it can prove to the international community of its ‘good intentions’.

Senator Joe Lieberman along with his fellow ‘Israel-Firsters’ Senators – Jon Kyl (R-AZ), Kirstin Gillibrand (D-NY), Bob Casey (D-PA) and Mark Kirk (R-IL) had delivered a letter to Ben Obama – demanding that his administration should make clear to Tehran that domestic enrichment is not an option.

Commenting on Hillary Clinton’s ‘wish list’ – Iran’s intelligence minister Heidar Moslehi has accused IAEA Watchdog agency of “sending spies in the guise of inspectors to collect information on Iran’s nuclear activities”.

Tehran has increasingly alleged in recent months that the agency’s inspectors have leaked information to US officials and Israel. In June, Iran banned two UN nuclear inspectors from entering the country, claiming they had leaked “false” information about the country’s disputed nuclear program.
