On July 8, Iranian President Dr. Mahmoud ahmadinejad and his Turkish counterpart, Abdullah Gul, were in Nigeria to attend the Developing Eight (D-8), summit. Islamic Iran, Turkey, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia and Nigeria are the eight Muslim-majority nation-states which are members of G-8 – representing over 930 million Muslims out of world Muslim population of 1.7 billion.
While meeting a group of Islamic scholars in Nigeria, Dr. Ahmadinejad repeated his previous statement that why sholars and historians are forbidden to question the Zionist holocaust narrative of “Six Million Died”? He also pointed out that he never denied the mass-killing of Jews in Europe by the Nazis (among whom there were 150,000 German Jews), but then Nazis killed hundreds of thousands of Gypsies and Christians, whose mass-murders are not recognized as holocaust – and no ‘holocaust museum’ has been built in their memories.
“The West made a claim – about the Holocaust – and urges all the people in the world to accept it or otherwise go to prison. The West allows everybody to question prophets and even God but not to pose a simple question and open the black box of a historic event,” asked Dr. Ahmadinejad.
Dr. Ahmadinejad once again denied the Israeli Hasbara (propaganda) lies of him being a ‘holocaust denier‘. What he said in December 2005, was: “If the Europeans are telling the truth in their claim that they have killed six million Jews in the holocaust during the WW II – which seems they’re right in their claim because they insist on it and arrest and imprison those who oppose it, why the Palestinian nation should pay for the crime? why they come to the very heart of the Islamic world and are committing crimes against the dear Palestine using bombs, rockets, missiles and sanctions? If you have committed the crime, so give a piece of your land somewhere in Europe or America and Canada or Alaska to set up their own state there……”
Virginia Tilley, an American professor working in South Africa, in an article (2006), Putting words in Ahmadinejad\’s mouth, wrote: “Is Ahmadinejad a ‘holocaust denier’? Holocaust denial is a very sesitive issue in the West, where it notoriously serves anti-Semitism. Elsewhere in the world, however, fogginess about the Holocaust traces more to a shear lack of information. One might think there is plenty of information about the Holocaust worldwide, but this is a mistake (lest we be snooty, Americans show the same startling insularity from general knowledge when, for example, they live to late adulthood still not grasping that US forces killed at least two million Vietnames and believing that anyone who say so is anti-American. Most French people have not yet accepted that their army slaughtered a million Arabs (Muslims) in Algeria).
Last October, British Daily Telegraph, published an Israeli Hasbara crap – Dr. Ahmadinejad being a ‘Crypto-Jew’. Professor David Yeroshalmi, an author and expert on Iranian Jewish history debunked the claim.
When British Prime Minister Tony Blair showed his “shock” on Ahmadinejad’s questioning of Zionist holocaust narrative – Ahmadinejad offered him the services of a team of doctors and historians to go to Poland and verify the truth behind the “Six Million Died” narrative. It was Polish FM who had to come to Blair’s rescue by denying visas to such team for being ‘holcaust deniers’.
